Role Creative Director & Designer
Client Flavo Rosa
Year 2021

The Challenge
To elevate Flavo Rosa's packaging by showcasing the brand's decades of artistry and craftsmanship

The Solution
Flavo Rosa is the home of Philippine Barongs (the National Costume and Formal Attire of Philippine Males) from Lumban, Quezon. It produces formal wear through hand embroidery by local and skilled craftsmen.
Following the brand's colors and identity, I illustrated 3 designs for their wrap keeping a vintage retro theme in mind, while creating a story that their consumers can easily follow and understand.  This was able to showcase the process and tradition of the brand and its origin.
The direction I went with emphasized the classic and timeless feeling one can experience while opening a box of a fully customized, hand-stitched, and one-of-a-kind Barong, giving meaning to every thread as the wearer enjoys themselves in their most memorable event.
